In short: Ruvendi does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to us or third parties. Everything you enter stays exclusively on your device. The only exception is two counters for the free allowance, which live in your own iCloud — see section 5.

2. What data does the app process?

Ruvendi works without an account, without a server of ours, and without analytics, tracking or advertising. The content you enter — such as work hours, projects, employers, client/invoice data, notes and attached photos/PDFs — is stored only locally on your device. We have no access to it. The core features need no internet connection; the only data the app transmits on its own are the two counters for the free allowance (section 5).

3. Permissions

All permissions are optional and only requested when you use the respective feature:

• Location (when in use / always): solely for the optional arrival reminder at a site. Evaluated on-device; no location data is sent.
• Calendar: to optionally add work hours to your calendar and show events. Processed on-device.
• Camera & Photos: to attach receipts and work photos. Stored locally.
• Notifications: for reminders (e.g. daily or arrival reminder).

You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings.

4. iCloud backup (optional)

If you enable the iCloud backup feature, a backup file is stored in your own iCloud (Apple), governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it. Without your active use, no backup leaves your device.

5. iCloud key-value store (free allowance)

Without a subscription you can create three invoices and three exports free of charge. So that this allowance survives a reinstall, Ruvendi stores two numbers in your Apple device's iCloud key-value store: how many invoices and how many exports you have already shared.

Only these two counters are transferred – no names, no invoices, no working hours, no amounts, no client data. The values live in your own iCloud, are subject to Apple's privacy policy, and we neither have access to them nor receive them. We do not operate a server of our own.

If iCloud is disabled on your device or no iCloud account is signed in, nothing is transferred. The app continues to work unchanged; counting then happens locally only.

6. Sharing content

Anything you share yourself (e.g. a PDF invoice, a backup or your digital business card) is shared via iOS's share sheet to recipients you choose.

7. Retention

Your data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. As nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server-side storage.

8. Your rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal data about you, we hold none. You have full control over your data directly on your device.

9. This website

The website itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

9a. Newsletter (website only, optional)

At ruvendi.com/newsletter.html you can sign up for our newsletter, voluntarily. The app itself still collects and transmits no data — sign-up happens exclusively on this website and is entirely separate from using the app.

We process: your email address, the time of sign-up and confirmation (double opt-in), and your IP address as proof of consent. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Delivery is handled by Brevo (Brevo SAS, France) with processing within the EU; the data processing agreement is part of Brevo's terms of use (brevo.com/legal/termsofuse).

You can withdraw your consent at any time — via the unsubscribe link in every email or informally by messaging us; your data will then be deleted from the list. Consent covers continuation of the newsletter by any successor to the Ruvendi offering for unchanged purposes; we will notify you by email in advance of any such transfer.

9b. „Create a project file" tool (website only)

At ruvendi.com/projekt.html you can build a project file for the app. Everything you type into that form — company, sites, contact details, attached plans — is processed entirely inside your browser and assembled into a file that never leaves your device. We do not receive it, it is not uploaded, and it is not stored anywhere.

So that you are not asked again on your next visit, the page stores in your browser's local storage (localStorage), under the key bautakt-projekt-zugang, only a note that access was unlocked, and when. Your email address is deliberately not stored there, so the entry cannot be traced back to you. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is not a cookie. You can remove it at any time via "Sign out" on the page itself or by clearing the site data in your browser.

The newsletter sign-up there is optional and separate from the tool. The tool works fully without consent. Only if you tick the box yourself is your email address sent to Brevo; then §9a applies accordingly. If you leave the box unticked, your address never leaves your browser and is not stored.

Legal bases: for the local storage entry, your wish to use the tool without being asked repeatedly (§ 25(2)(2) TDDDG, storage strictly necessary for a service you explicitly requested); for the newsletter transmission, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
